Window Irrigation Stain Removal

These windows at Royalwood Golf Course in Greendale, BC had developed heavy hard water and irrigation rust staining from years of sprinkler overspray. Mineral deposits had built up across the glass, creating a cloudy, iridescent film that significantly reduced the clarity of the windows. Regular window cleaning alone wasn’t enough to remove this type of buildup.

We used a specialized restoration treatment designed to break down hard water minerals and irrigation rust deposits on glass. The solution was carefully applied to the affected windows and worked into the staining before being thoroughly rinsed away. Using the right chemistry allowed us to target the mineral buildup without relying on aggressive pressure or abrasive cleaning methods.

The difference in clarity was immediately noticeable. Much of the cloudy, rainbow-like staining was removed, allowing the glass to reflect the surrounding sky and landscape clearly again. What had looked permanently weathered was brought back to a much cleaner and clearer condition.

This window restoration is a great example of the difference between standard window washing and treating stubborn mineral staining. Hard water and irrigation deposits can build up gradually over time, but with the right restoration process, heavily stained exterior glass can often be significantly improved. We provide window cleaning and hard water stain removal services throughout Greendale and the Fraser Valley.
