RV Tail Light Algae Cleaning

As part of this RV wash and wax project in Greendale, BC, one of the areas that needed extra attention was the motorhome’s taillight assembly. Over time, dirt, grime, cobwebs, and organic buildup had collected around the lens and trim, leaving the taillight looking dull and neglected. Small detail areas like this can easily get overlooked, but they make a big difference in the overall appearance of an RV.

We carefully cleaned the taillight using RV-safe products and gentle agitation to remove the buildup without damaging the plastic lens or surrounding trim. Extra attention was given to the edges, recessed areas, and seams where dirt and debris had collected. This allowed us to clean the assembly thoroughly while keeping the process safe for the surrounding surfaces.

The difference was easy to see right away. Once the grime and buildup were removed, the red lens looked much clearer and brighter, and the white trim around it looked far cleaner. Restoring small details like this helps the entire motorhome look better cared for and more complete after a wash.
