Yarrow Garden Transformation

This backyard garden area at a residential property in Yarrow had started to look messy from fallen leaves, weeds, and general debris building up around the gravel and garden bed. The homeowner wanted the area cleaned up so the landscaping looked more defined and the space felt easier to enjoy and maintain.

We started by clearing out the leaves and loose debris that had collected throughout the gravel and around the garden bed. We then hand-weeded the area, cleaned up the edges, and trimmed back some of the surrounding growth to give the plants and flowering tree a neater appearance. The goal was not to completely change the landscaping, but to bring the existing space back under control and make the original layout stand out again.

The cleanup made a noticeable difference. The gravel area looks much cleaner, the garden bed has a more defined shape, and the flowering tree stands out as the main feature instead of getting lost in the surrounding mess. Removing the buildup also helped make the entire backyard feel more open and cared for.

This garden cleanup was completed at a residential property in Yarrow, BC.
